At Oakhurst UMC, we study the Bible, but we also keep each other accountable in putting it into practice.

This is why we call many of our groups “labs.” We want to practice what Jesus taught and discover what it means for our lives and the world.

Autumn

Women’s Study Group

  • Join the group on Mondays at 10 a.m. in Room 28 of the Foundry for this eight-week class about The Chosen: Season 3.

A Journey Through The Bible

  • Pastor Nathan and Pastor Phil are set to lead a two-night journey through The Bible on Sept. 23 and Sept. 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the Foundry.

The Bible in Context

  • Pastor Nathan will lead this small group from Oct. 7 through Nov. 18 on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. in the Foundry. This lab will be a continuation of September’s two-night event.
  • Note: There will be no class on Nov. 11, which is Veterans Day.

The Art of Studying Scripture

  • Pastor Phil will lead this small group from Oct. 9 through Nov. 20 on Wednesdays at 12 p.m. in the Foundry. This lab will be a continuation of September’s two-night event.

  • Pastor Nathan and Pastor Phil will return to continue their symposium started in the summer.
Yoga

Our free Christian yoga classes in the Foundry at Oakhurst UMC are all about making space to connect deeper with God. Classes are held on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. and Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. Learn more by clicking here.
